We act as an enabler and deploy the latest technology including "blanket" public WiFi, Smart Small Cells, 5G ready networks and IoT solutions to provide organizations with the right digital infrastructure and a solid foundation of digital connectivity inside and out.

Our Digital Services and Connected City Platforms helps local municipalities and governments implement digital connectivity, promote digital inclusion and create digital services which improve the lives of residents, businesses and visitors.

IBG Smart City operates with its own patented technology (mainly South Korean technology), developed by our Technological Innovation Center with the highest degree of specialization and dedication in the technological market and IoT; we work tirelessly in the search of how to improve and implement our technologies to add new technological patents, for community service.

Our own factory, is located in South Korea. We manufacture on a large scale and keep developing our own technology to fully meet the needs of our customers for the development of Smart Cities around the world, offering the highest quality at the most competitive price in the market, with devices that can be easily improved and / or replaced in the future, as new technologies are incorporated.

IBG Smart City Platform

Our Smart City Platform combines 'blanket' WiFi connectivity, City Insights data analytics engine, Smart Cell infrastructure and 5G ready networks utilizing the Internet of Things (IoT) to deliver digital transformation. We provide IoT networks and IoT Smart Sensor Solutions for multiple industry sectors, including Wellbeing Monitoring, Waste Management and Asset Tracking.

Why IBG Smart City is going to change the world as we know it?

IBG Smart City has the patents, technologies and devices enabling us to develop 7G all around the world.

Do you want to know why 5G is the past and 7G is the present and future? Keep reading…

Comparison Between 5G and 7G

5G vs 7G construction: Energy and emissions

Energy consumption per unit of data (watt/bit) is much less for 7G than 5G and power consumption is also much lower.

In the 5G era, the maximum energy consumption of an active antenna unit (AAU) is around 1 to 1.4 kW to 2 kW for a baseband unit (BBU). A 7G antenna unit energy consumption is only about 1W to 100W for a baseband unit.

7G uses advanced technology and design to exceed function, reliability, data speed and quality of service while simultaneously operating with less power and less energy consumption resulting in a dramatically less power output transmission by a factor of up to 1000 times.

7G power transmission levels are a fraction of what current 5G lethal amplified high-power transmission output levels are. 5G technology power output transmits between 100W to 1000W, whereas 7G operates with as low as 1W.

Base stations with multiple frequencies are a typical configuration in the 5G era. It is predicted that the proportion of sites with more than five frequency bands will increase from 3 percent in 2016 to 45 percent by 2023. In a site with multiple frequencies, maximum power consumption for the whole mobile tower will exceed 10 kW. At 10 or more frequency bands, site power consumption surpasses 20 kW. And in scenarios where multiple operators share a site, power consumption is doubled. Now, in the 7G era, we only need about 100W per baseband unit, and even with 10 or more frequency bands the site power consumption will not surpass 1kW.

We are ready to deploy 7G within your town, your city, your state, your country…
